The Proposed Project

The project consists of locating an additional potable water source for the community. Activities include the construction of an access road (60m long, 6m wide) to the proposed well drill location in an undeveloped area. Drill and exploratory test well and possible monitoring wells will be developed at the site. With positive water samples and yields, the test hole would be redeveloped to production well status. Following construction, a 72 hour yield test will be completed. A small building (2m x 2m) would then be constructed to cover the well head and install water supply piping to connect to existing water distribution system on adjacent Sewell street.
