Eskasoni Lakeside Drive Housing Development – Public Comments Invited

April 18, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) must determine whether the proposed Eskasoni Lakeside Drive Housing Development, located in Eskasoni First Nation, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ISC is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project consists of the development of 10 housing units in Eskasoni First Nation. Each lot will be 100ft x 150ft for a total area of approximately 3.4 acres. Houses will be 1568sqft each.

Activities include lot preparation (clearing and grubbing), installation of water and sewer connections and construction of houses.
