Sandy Lake First Nation - Accommodations Building
October 22, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Accommodations Building located in Sandy Lake First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project
Sandy Lake First Nation is proposing the design and construction of a new accommodations building that will serve the proposed Jordan's Principle Health Services Building. Physical activities include site grading, tree clearing, installation of water and sewer systems, and construction of the building. The total footprint size is 2,400 m2.
