Canadian Nuclear Laboratories Upgraded Electrical Services

Upgraded Electrical Services

In order to support the ongoing Waste Management Operations at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), Chalk River site, an upgrade to the existing electrical system that supports the Waste Management Area is necessary.  The proposed Project involves the removal and replacement of overhead and underground electrical line, transformer, and distribution panel at the entrance to a Waste Management Area. This work will provide the power necessary to support the ongoing Waste Management Operations at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), Chalk River site. The physical activities associated with this project will occur on approximately 0.21 acres of land previously disturbed by past facility operations, roads, and utilities on an existing Atomic Energy of Canada site.
