Eniskillen Road Upgrades Project - 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This Project involves the activities and components related to the upgrade of approximately 7.3 km of right-of-way along Enniskillen Road in the Range and Training Area (RTA) at 5 CDSB Gagetown, NB. The Project includes the grading of Enniskillen Road, beginning at a point approximately 25 m east of the range control gate on the west end of the RTA and continuing for approximately 7.3 km to a point approximately 1.5 km west of the range control gate on the east end of the RTA roadway. Upgrades to the road will include the installation of several new watercourse crossings and replacement of old crossing infrastructure to improve drainage along the right-of-way.

March 6, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
