Berens River Emergency Temporary School

Due to the total loss of the community school by fire, an emergency, temporary school is required for the 400 students of Berens River School. The temporary school will be made up of a combination of RTM buildings combined with site built structures. The temporary school shall meet the needs of these students for the next 3-4 years, while a new, permanent school is being built. The site, selected by BRFN, is close to existing municipal infrastructure, on a site that had previously been partly cleared for a
different project. The work will include improvement of a 410 m section of the existing winter road.
