Stoney North MÎnÎ ThnÎ Reservoir and Pump Station

Stoney Tribal Administration plans to construct a reservoir and pump station in MÎnÎ ThnÎ. The proposed reservoir and pump station will be located just north of highway 1A and adjacent to the North MÎnÎ ThnÎ residences. Project activities include clearing of vegetation, excavation, fill, restoration, and construction of a new pumphouse building.

Announcing the Notice of Determination

May 26, 2026  – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination for the Stoney North MÎnÎ ThnÎ Reservoir and Pump Station Project and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
