Phase 2 - Construction of Perimeter Fence for Range Training Area - Valcartier Military Base

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The works consists of substituting the existing fencing within the Range and Training Areas of the Valcartier Military Base with a fencing designed to deter deer, in order to reduce intrusions into the Range and Training Areas.

Latest update

February 21, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Department of National Defence is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
