Tootinaowaziibeeng - CHRT 41 - Jordan's Principle - Multiple Buildings - 2324

Construction of a new office building, 370m2, and allied health services 6 room accommodation (215m2), a 3 bedroom (170m2) and 4 bedroom (180m2) transition homes all utilizing modular construction to deliver the buildings. Additionally a Horse stable (150m2), Exterior Storage Shed (85m2), Heated Storage shed (6m2) and a Medical Transport Garage (58m2) all to be site built. The occupied buildings will be serviced by a septic system of individual holding tanks and serviced with well water piped to the buildings with softeners. The foundations per the geotechnical report will be ICF gradebeams supported by cast concrete friction piles or hlical screw piles. On site construction waste will be greatly reduced with a modular construction approach. Any waste generated on site will be the responsibile of the awarded GC and will be disposed of at the nearest dump site.

March 15, 2024 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Indigenous Services Canada considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
