Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation Business Park

Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation is proposing a Business Park Servicing and Lot Clearing Project in preparation for the development of the Chi Zhiingwaak Business Park. Project activities will occur on undeveloped land. The project will include earth excavation, clearing, grubbing, importing fill and site re-grading. Existing service lines (water, wastewater and electrical services) will be extended to 15 lots within the proposed business park.

Latest update

July 22, 2024 - The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination  and determined that the project is not likely to cause adverse environmental effects.

April 3, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until May 3, 2024 respecting the determination.
