Woodland Cree First Nation: CUAK9 2025 Five Unit Residential Lot Development and Housing Project

Woodland Cree First Nation proposes the development of five new residential lots with ready-to-move trailer units and appurtenant utility services on its reserve lands at Woodland Cree IR No 226 and Woodland Cree IR No 228. The 2025 residential lot development will have a buildout footprint of 20 hectares requiring equivalent land clearing and grading of mature mixedwood forest. Construction is proposed for spring 2025.

April 16, 2025 – Indigenous Services Canada issued its Notice of Determination (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
